PHARM AID and Country for Children Foundation Conclude Large-Scale Pediatric Vaccination Initiative Across Russia

The charitable programme undertaken by PHARM AID in partnership with the Country for Children Foundation has been successfully completed. Over the period from March to July, a total of 44,856 doses of the Trivaid — indicated for the prevention of measles, rubella, and mumps — were delivered to medical facilities across 18 regions of the Russian Federation. In addition, the initiative provided targeted assistance to a children's home in Altai Krai, which received a supply of rotavirus vaccine.

The project spanned the entire country, ensuring that vaccines reached not only major cities but also remote communities, where access to quality preventive healthcare is often limited. Through effective coordination among logistics operators and partner organisations, all consignments were delivered on schedule and in full compliance with cold-chain requirements.

Of particular note is the support extended to the children's home in Altai Krai. In addition to the primary Trivaid delivery, the facility also received a rotavirus vaccine, since rotavirus is especially dangerous in congregate childcare settings. We are appreciative of the foundation for drawing our attention to this specific requirement and for facilitating a timely response.

We wish to express our sincere acknowledgment to the Country for Children Foundation for their professionalism, commitment, and capacity to align stakeholders around a common objective. The foundation served as an essential intermediary between healthcare institutions, logistics providers, and our organisation, while also assisting in identifying priority areas for intervention. Without Foundation’s active engagement and operational efficiency, the project would not have attained its current scale.

For our organisation, this initiative represented more than a statistical outcome; it constituted a substantive contribution to the national immunisation schedule and to the broader effort of safeguarding paediatric health. We maintain that the future of the country is predicated on the welfare of its children, and that each successive measure in this domain carries tangible significance.
