Thermostable pentavalent conjugate meningococcal vaccine (A, C, Y, W-135, X) in lyophilized form, conjugated with tetanus toxoid and CRM197 protein from the cell wall of Corynebacterium diphtheriae, provides enhanced protection against the most common serotypes of meningococcal infection in both developed and developing countries. The vaccine is manufactured under a license granted by Serum Institute of India, which developed this product in collaboration with WHO and PATH.
