Storage Conditions
Store at 2-8°C. Avoid exposure to sunlight and contact with disinfectants. Use immediately after reconstitution.
Описание
The attenuated live antiviral vaccine, derived from the Oka strain, cultured on human diploid cells MRC-5, is supplied as a sterile lyophilisate ranging from white to off-white in color. After reconstitution, it becomes a milky-white liquid. It is administered subcutaneously for active immunization to prevent chickenpox in children aged 1-12 years. The internationally recognized vaccination schedule is:
- The first dose at 12-18 months of age;
- The second dose by the age of 4 years, provided at least 3 months have passed since the first dose;
- Catch-up doses up to 12 years for those who have not been previously vaccinated.
Each dose of the reconstituted vaccine (0.5 ml) suitable for human administration contains:
- Not less than 2000 PFU of attenuated varicella-zoster virus (Oka strain).
